1 Bedroom Suites
Our one bedroom private guest suites have a slightly larger kitchen than the studio suites and contain a microwave / convection oven, two induction hobs, larger fridge, dishwasher and washer dryer (or in some cases a shared mini-laundry). The living space has seating and dining for up to four people and enough utensils are provided in the kitchen for up to four people as well. The super-king-sized bed can be separated into two generous singles on request. The Louis-Gilbert does not have a bath however it does come with a ‘shower in the tower’.
Infant of Spain
This is an expansive suite overlooking the front lawns and forest and is in direct line with the quirky grotto. The living area is very spacious and bright with a large aubergine accented kitchen. The ceiling in the bedroom has been exposed to full height which lends an impressive air to the room. The bathroom has a slipper bath with one of our two twin occupancy ‘showers in the tower’. First Floor with Disability Access.
Marvellous one bedroom suite enjoying a southerly aspect which gives a lovely light all day long. Large paneled sliding doors allow the suite to become an open-plan living space which greatly suits the big leather sofa. A double-ended free-standing bath with claw feet sets off the traditional bathroom which has a separate water-closet. First Floor.
Maillé de la Tour Landry
This suite enjoys the same footprint as Suite Vue Foret, which is directly below it. Set in the vast attics of the château the suite comes with several exposed timbers and there are wonderful views if you pause to look out of the windows towards the forest and the old Guard Tower. Second Floor.
Accessed by the West Wing staircase, the Louis-Gilbert suite offers spacious living with double aspect views over both the forest and formal ‘Jardin Français’ to the rear of the château. Unusual features include exposed beams, parts of an ancient fireplace, a staircase to nowhere and a fabulous shower in the tower. Second Floor.
