“We visited several chateau in France and had almost given up on that idea as a venue until we found Chateau de Jalesnes.
Not only is it a gorgeous setting, but the inside is modern with huge, comfortable rooms for our family and friends to stay. We loved that it is a working farm and active part of the community and felt a warm welcome when we stayed overnight for a visit. Any ideas we had for our wedding weekend were met with a ”yes” from the Jalesnes team and they were very flexible in how we wanted to structure our big event. Eric’s food was phenomenal, the locally arranged flowers were gorgeous and our friends and families rave about an unforgettable weekend in France to celebrate our wedding.

We used Eric for the wedding meal...His food and presentations is sublime and there is no comparison with the standards we knew we’d get in England! His team, including his wife, were also great on the day. We loved it so much we took our wedding party to his restaurant after all the other guests had left.
Jenny and her team worked closely with us to ensure they knew how we wanted things... Their opinions would have never been forced upon us but were very valid so guided to some extent what we did. The thing we would change is having the chance to do it again as we loved every moment as did our very eclectic group of guests! ”
