Music Festivals: The International Festival of Chamber Music at Château de Jalesnes has raised the standard of classical music in the Saumur region to new heights, welcoming, as it does young performers from all over the world.
Motor Sports: we often have race teams, journalists and enthusiasts alike staying with us in our private guest suites throughout the year. We also play host to several Classic Car Rallies.
Christmas Markets: Christmas at the château is an exquisitely exciting season when the halls are filled with greenery from the forest decorated with colored, blown-glass baubles and garlands of fairy lights.

If you don’t want to be up at dawn chasing the local baker for croissants, we are happy to provide you with a delicious continental breakfast to be served in your suite at any time of your choosing between 8am-10am daily. Breakfast orders must be submitted by 5pm the afternoon prior.

We are pleased to lend the Château cycles to guests wishing to explore the local area. Just let us know which days and at what times you would like to borrow them and they will be waiting for you in the back of the Château.
For larger groups, your cycles arrive from a specialist who will be on hand to make last-minute adjustments to your riding position and who will collect again from a rendezvous of your choosing.
