Eleanor d’Aquitaine

Studio Suite

Rich, warm, and thoughtfully styled, Eleanor d’Aquitaine draws inspiration from the neighbouring former stables, resulting in an elegant equestrian-themed suite with a welcoming atmosphere.

This second-floor studio accommodation does not feature a full kitchen but includes a fridge, microwave, utensils for two, and a dining table seating two – ideal for light refreshments.

Access is via the West Stairwell to the second floor.  There is no lift access to this suite.

This suite is named in honour of Eleanor of Aquitaine (or Aliénor d’Aquitaine), duchess of Aquitaine from 1137 to 1204. Ruling with her husband, Louis VII of France and following their annulment, with her second husband King Henry II of England, she was one of the wealthiest and most powerful people in Western Europe in the Middle Ages.
