The Chateau has an impressive array of Suites, Salons and Spaces to meet, dine and relax.

When passing through the main door, we are faced with a cozy entrance, surrounded by stone walls that convey a feeling of going back in time, being able to dazzle, right from the start, the unique and elegant architecture of the castle, which has undergone a major renovation.

To the right, we find the beautiful stairs, which give us access to the other rooms of the castle. The stairs, flanked by beautiful mosaics, create a magical setting that encourages us to go up and discover what lies beyond. But also offering accessibility via a beautifully decorated elevator.

With each floor, the interior of the castle reveals itself more and more, showing the unique beauty of its interior. It’s an unforgettable experience, that leaves us wanting to know more about this historic place

Our Interconnecting salons have retractable full-height glazed and oak partitions which can be opened to reveal a stunning gallery for dining and dancing. Individually these salons form:

Old Sacristy: A small paneled room used as a green room for musicians.
Gallery: Suitable for private views and team meetings.
Dining Room: Private venue seating up to 16, can also be used as a board room.
Ante Room: Circulatory space between the Entrance Hall and gardens, often used for afternoon tea.

A stunning yet inspirational performance space seating up to 85 in comfort. The double-storey vaulted ceiling and stained glass window by Bordereau of Angers impress all who enter.

With dimmable LED lighting and a fresh-air circulation system, the chapel has possible use for concerts, wedding ceremonies, product launches and lectures.

The de-mountable stage, minstrel gallery and crypt offer additional opportunities for creating a very special occasion.

Our two open-plan reception rooms: Library and Club Salon are interconnected with a shared open fireplace and afford an opportunity for quiet relaxation, surrounded by books, paintings and comfortable leather upholstered sofas and chairs set against the wooden parquet flooring.

This gorgeously sumptuous space has a number of different potential uses amongst the most recent were a drinks reception, wine tasting, committee meeting and a private film screening.

Relax and enjoy the company of your family and friends.
Swim in the pool, walk in the forest, ride a bike, or just read a book with a glass of wine.

The estate of Jalesnes runs to some 20 acres and includes a forest with beautiful nature walks, picnic lawns with barbeque areas, marquee lawns which are also used for landing helicopters, Formal Jardins Francaises, an orchard and permaculture jardin potager with swathes of meadowflower, a petanque rink and a 20 metre heated seasonal pool.

Guests can also benefit from the sun terrace which can be used for outdoor theatre and concerts.

THE SUITES

STUDIO SUITES

Our studio private guest suites are superbly well-equipped with a compact kitchen area containing: a microwave/convection oven, two induction hobs, an integrated mini-fridge, a dishwasher and a washer-dryer (or in some cases a shared mini-laundry).
The living space has seating and dining for up to four people and enough utensils are provided in the kitchen for up to four people as well. The super-king-size bed can be separated into two generous singles on request and every bathroom has a bath as well as a shower.

across the lawns, courtyard and former stables of the château.

Slide Prince de Condé This magnificent first floor open-plan suite offers marvellous light from sunrise to sunset through large windows on three sides. More details Slide Mme Blandin Approached by the Grand Staircase and having access to the lift, this studio suite is excellent value in terms of its location within the château. More details Slide Don Carlos First visited by Don Carlos, l’Enfant d’Espagne in 1879, this second floor suite has beautiful views of the forest, the old stables and the front of the château. 1 bedroom SUITES

Our one-bedroom private guest suites have a slightly larger kitchen than the studio suites and contain a microwave/convection oven, two induction hobs, a larger fridge, dishwasher and washer and dryer (or in some cases a shared mini-laundry).
The living space has seating and dining for up to four people and enough utensils are provided in the kitchen for up to four people as well. The super-king-sized bed can be separated into two generous singles on request. The Louis-Gilbert does not have a bath however it does come with a ‘shower in the tower’.

Slide L’enfant d’Espagne This is an expansive suite overlooking the front lawns and forest and is in direct line with the quirky grotto. More details Slide Maillé de la Tour Landry Set in the vast attics of the château on the second floor, the suite comes with several exposed timbers and there are wonderful views. More details Slide Louis Gilbert The Louis-Gilbert suite offers spacious living with double aspect views over both the forest and formal ‘Jardins Français’ to the rear
of the château.

2 bedroom SUITES

Our two-bedroom private guest suites have full kitchens with larger refrigerators, dishwashers, hobs, ovens and washing machine capacities they also have double sinks.
The living space has seating and dining for up to six people and enough utensils are provided in the kitchen for up to six people as well. The super-king-sized beds can be separated into generous singles on request. Most en-suite bathrooms have both a bath and a shower however Brezé and Bibliothèque have only a very generous shower in one of their two bathrooms.

Slide Bibliothèque This suite features impressive gilded beamed ceilings together with walls of over one metre in thickness, providing respite from extremes of temperatures all year round. More details Slide Ackerman A good sized suite situated in a quiet corner of the château on the first floor. The main bedroom looks out over the orchard, adjacent fields and surrounding countryside. More details Slide Marquis de Brezé Set in the vast attics of the château on the second floor, the suite comes with several exposed timbers and there are wonderful views. More details Slide Bonnes Sœurs Approached by the Grand Staircase and having access to the lift, this two bedroom suite is centrally located within the chateau on the first floor. Les Generaux and Madam Sheridan, two distinctive accommodations containing an equipped kitchen, three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Slide Les Generaux Truly an original in the château, this boldly colored black and gold, three bedroom suite will delight the senses. More details Slide Madam Sheridan This top floor 3 bedroom suite located in the West Wing boasts gorgeous views of both Les Jardins Français and the old stables. More details
